Licensed by Ferrari and created by Lego itself, this Ferrari F40 Model Kit costs $90 and looks more like a collectible item than a toy. It measures 5 inches in width, 10 inches in length and 3 inches in height, and it features Ferrari’s renowned red color as well as functional doors, a hood that can be lifted and closed, a rear gate for the engine, and pop-up headlights.
The engine is recreated in outstanding detail and can be removed from the car for a closer inspection. It is a replica of a twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V8 that’s good for 478 horsepower, and was made out of light and dark gray bricks complemented by a few red ones. The set comprises 1,158 pieces and will become available for purchase starting August 1. However, if you’re one of the few Lego VIP members, you can actually order one starting July 15.
