Even the most luxurious cruise ships eventually reach a point in their existence that demands a complete refurbishment. That’s exactly what happened to the glorious Queen Mary 2 cruise ship by Cunard, and the result of this refurbishment is definitely something to write home about. The entire process required $132 million in order to be complete, and since the vessel has been cruising across the world’s oceans for the past 176 years, it makes sense that no expense was spared in its remodeling.
Modern interior design features have been implemented throughout, while the staterooms, Queens Grill and Princess Grill suites have been completely re-imagined. The buffet area, namely the King’s Court, has been restructured, while several Britannia Club and Britannia Single staterooms have been added to the list of available accommodations. There are also 10 additional kennels for pets now, as well as a wine cellar and designer stores.
