Rumor has it that 2012 will bring some very interesting stuff. Aside from the gloomy end-of-the-world speculations, important events also include new launches on the automotive market. One of them is the new K9 sedan from Kia, which will probably have a rear wheel drive and a V8 engine.
Also part of the auto manufacturer’s plans are a couple of rear drive coupe concepts that will be presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show and the Detroit Auto Show, respectively, to gauge public interest. If reactions are positive, Kia might release a production version in 2015.
Another rumor that pleases our years is the one about a possible competitor to the Mazda MX-5 Miata, with the platform from the next gen Cee’d. The only concern we have about the roadster is that it might not have a rear wheel drive. And the fact of the matter is that without that, the car would not even represent a true menace to the MX-5 Miata.
