House of the Day: Herzelia Pituah House

Herzelia Pituah House 14

A beach retreat is always better when immersed in luxury. A great example of that is the Herzelia Pituah House, a summer home by Pitsou Kedem Architects. Dominated by right angles and long, straight lines both inside and outside, this is a contemporary home built for an Israeli family that lives abroad. The owners wanted a place to relax in, for when they would visit home.

When the sliding glass doors of the first level are rolled into the wall, the transition between the inside area and the outdoor living spaces is so seamless, that the house actually becomes an extension of the relaxing pool area. It practically turns into a sort of a modern pavilion for the guests to enjoy.

Inside, the entertainment areas and the private spaces are clearly delimited, but the immense living section is always open to the outside world. Modern furnishings and natural wood is what gives the Herzelia Pituah House a unique personality. It’s a wonderful place for spending a relaxing summer.
