Some of the poorest countries are ruled by some of the richest men on the planet. Egyptian mogul Hosni Mubarak is one of them, and probably the biggest of all. He is said to have a family fortune of about $70 billion, which makes him the richest man alive, leaving Bill Gates behind with his $53 billion.
Foreign bank accounts and real estate holdings (luxury homes and hotels) in England and the States: these are some of the methods he used to ‘hide’ his incredible wealth. The 82-year old man is just as wealthy as he is hated.
