With 50% to 100% lower fuel consumption and GHG emissions, Guardian S Class is a true environment friend. It is the first carbon neutral speed boat ever created, and it can rush on water with speeds of up to 45 knots.

The boat is powered by a Mercedes Benz Bluetec engine regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). To help this motor, there is a Carbon-Grossbauteile electric engine with Lithium ion UPS batteries having a range of up to 50 nautical miles on a full charge.

The solar panel technology of the vessel provides enough energy to keep the boat sailing carbon neutrally for 1,000 nautical miles a year. This is a very important revolution in our world today, as boats like the Guardian can help reduce the CO2 emissions by 75%. That means 280 million metric tons less than the current 375 million metric tons of annual CO2 emissions.

Saunter Carbon Offset Design is proud of their project and hopes to see this kind of technologies spread and develop even more over the years.
