When it comes to powerful and reliable SUVs, the Land Rover Defender is arguably the head of the pack, but this doesn’t necessarily mean that it can’t be improved. An aftermarket specialist named Urban Truck recently created an impressive modification package for this particular vehicle that includes a boost in performance as well as upgraded looks.
The UK-based tuners enhanced the Defender visually by equipping it with new hood vents, light surrounds, a KBX front grille and privacy glass. The stock headlights were swapped for a set of LED ones that boast dual daytime running lights, while the wheels were replaced by 18-inch alloys enveloped in BF Goodrich tires.
The interior received a brand new sound system with a subwoofer as well as Alpine satellite navigation. The Recaro Sportster CS Sport seats flaunt Alcantara stitching and Nappa leather, and we should also mention the leather steering wheel and custom carpets. The relatively powerful 2.2-liter turbo diesel engine that animates this stunning vehicle is able to deliver 354 lb-ft of torque and 170 horsepower. The newfound power was obtained with the help of a stainless steel sport exhaust, an uprated intercooler and a new air filter kit.
Urban Truck offers to apply these outstanding modifications on the 110 Utility Wagon, 110 Station Wagon and 90 Station Wagon models.
