Set to hit the waves in 2016, the luxurious and powerful Sunseeker 116 yacht represents the next generation of Sunseeker motor yachts, and even though it is currently still under construction at the company’s shipyard in Dorset, we can actually feast our eyes on the vessel courtesy of these renderings. The yacht’s layout is based on the 115 Sport Yacht’s platform, but it features a redesigned superstructure and deck, both of which are more suitable for long cruises. The foredeck is an outstanding entertainment space that includes a “Club” concept as well as a large hot tub that offers great relaxation opportunities.
As far as accommodations go, ten passengers will find exquisite living conditions in five cabins, but there’s also enough room for five crew members on board. Amenities include electronically operable carbon fiber gull-wing doors, numerous sun loungers, hot tubs, a wet bar and a retractable sunroof on the flybridge.
Power-wise, the Sunseeker 116 can reach a top speed of 26 knots, while its cruising speed is reachable at 16 to 18 knots. Other highlights comprise a hidden platform shower, platform level seating, and a stern garage that houses a pair of jet skis and a tender.
