Gorgeous 2014 Corvette Stingray Premiere Edition

June 30, 2013 marked the 60th anniversary of the beloved Corvette from Chevrolet. This makes the famous Corvette the longest-running passenger car, with six decades of continuous production. The first generation consisted of only 300 units, all featuring a bright red interior and Polo White exterior. Back then a C1 cost some $3,500, but today one of these rare vintage pieces can easily fetch more than $1 million at auction.

In order to celebrate this very important milestone, Chevrolet has created a special edition C7 called 2014 Corvette Stingray Premiere Edition. Limited to only 500 units, the car will boast the alluring Laguna Blue Tintcoat exterior. Every example features a nice carbon fiber hood stripe and the premium 3LT trim, while an individually numbered plaque and some extra carbon fiber details can be found inside.

Customers will be happy to learn that they will get a new sports exhaust system and Stingray’s Z51 Performance Package for the 6.2-liter V-8, which translates to 460 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque. Also part of the deal is a luggage set consisting of five custom pieces.Price will be made public closer to the sales launch of the new 2014 Corvette Stingray, which will take place in September.
