Casio has unveiled yet another incredible timepiece, this time around the G-Shock Gulfmaster GWN-Q1000, which is actually the first ever G-Shock to incorporate a Quad Sensor. Designed to work just as well above water and under it, the Gulfmaster boasts a barometer, a compass, a thermometer, an altimeter and a depth gauge.
It also includes an environmental sensor that provides information regarding ocean conditions, and this information is quite similar to that received by the Coast Guard. Other highlights include a built-in tide graph and moon data, as well as sunrise and sunset data. Available colorways are based on a black or white resin case complemented by a carbon fiber reinforcement, a sapphire crystal for protection and a blue bezel. Since we are talking about a diving watch, it comes with an impressive water resistance of 656 feet, while its Tough Solar power system allows it to tick away without any issues for up to two years.
All of the above for just $988 is really not bad at all, wouldn’t you agree?
