If you are not familiar with the idea of an exoskeleton, we should probably start off by explaining what it is. An exoskeleton is a resistant structure that houses an organism and protects it, unlike the human skeleton. The most relevant point is that it is clearly visible from the outside, again, unlike out skeleton that is covered in flesh. Based on this very concept of an exoskeleton, Scott Devon, founder of Devon Works, came up with a very unique design for a timepiece.
The wristwatch is called Devon Tread 1 Exoskeleton and is the third version of Tread 1. The whole structure of the timepiece is visible and the main material that was used to achieve such transparency was anti-reflective, bulletproof, scratch-resistant polycarbonate. The previous editions of the watch might not have been too shabby, but they sure don’t even come close to how amazing this one is. It has a very uncanny super-futuristic design, yet somehow it manages to look elegant. A real stunner indeed!
