Frank Sinatra’s Extravagant NY Penthouse Is Now for Sale

Celebrity homes have always had something very special and appealing, and this one is no exception. The luxurious penthouse apartment in these photos is located in Manhattan, New York City, and it used to house some very special guests, namely the famous Rat Pack of the 1950s and 1960s. For those of you who are too young to know exactly who was part of this group, here comes the explanation.

The apartment used to belong to Frank Sinatra (and you do know who he was), and it was often the meeting place of him and his friends, Joey Bishop, Sammy Davis Jr, Humphrey Bogart, Dean Martin, and Peter Lawford, actors who formed what people used to call the Rat Pack.

Now the luxurious dwelling is on the market and looking for a new owner, maybe someone who would continue the lavish lifestyle that Sinatra himself used to lead within its walls. The actor often threw glamorous and extravagant parties here, inviting different personalities and stars of the time, including the beautiful Marilyn Monroe and President John F. Kennedy.

The penthouse flaunts a wraparound terrace (from where guests used to throw down champagne glasses onto the expressway), generous living spaces, a stunning spiral staircase, a putting green, a private gym, and more. It is a four-bedroom, four-bathroom home that Andy Warhol described as a “glittering grotto in the sky”, a very accurate description for such a place of lavish living.
