Ford Unveils the 2013 Fusion in Detroit (15)

We were completely fascinated by the stunning Ford Evos Concept when it was unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show.  We were also thrilled to learn that even though it would never enter production as it was, many of its alluring features would be implemented in the new generations of Ford cars. The first one to flaunt some of Evos’ qualities is the 2013 Ford Fusion, a wonderful car presented at this year’s Detroit Auto Show.

While its body style has an overall rather conservative feel, one cannot deny the car’s aggressive features at the front: the new grille and the raised lines on the hood. The engine options for the 2013 Fusion include a plug-in hybrid system boasting a 100 MPGe, meaning that the famous Toyota Prius and Chevrolet Volt now have serious competition. We don’t have many details on the car at the moment, but we hope more will be revealed soon.
