Floris Royal Arms Diamond Edition for Queen Elizabeth

One of the many precious gifts that Queen Elizabeth II will receive at the upcoming Diamond Jubilee celebration is a rare perfume, created specially for this occasion by Great Britain’ old and famous perfume house Floris. The name of the perfume is Floris Royal Arms Diamond Edition, and it will be limited to only 10 bottles of 60 ml each. The bottles will be made of antique crystal, to add more exquisiteness to the product.

While her Majesty the Queen will receive her bottle as a gift, the other nine interested buyers will have to  pay a staggering £15,000 (some $23,500) for one flacon, and they will be able to purchase them from the 89 Jermyn Street shop. If that is a bit too much for your budget, then you might consider buying an Eau de Perfume version of the fragrance, which comes in 100 ml bottles and cost only £99 ($155) a bottle.

Bear in mind, however, that the Perfume version is not just considerably more expensive, it is also a symbol of exclusivity. Each piece is decorated with a Fairtrade white diamond, carefully placed by hand on an delicate 18-carat golden pendant, and suspended on a fine matching chain.

The high-end fragrance was first created in 1926, and it is based on sweet aromas of roses, sweet violets, ylang ylang, jasmine and iris. For a bit of lightness, Floris added bergamot and lemon tones, before completing the recipe with patchouli, vanilla, amber and musk.
