Ferrari 458 Italia Scuderia to Debut in Frankfurt

This fall at the Frankfurt Motor Show, Ferrari is expected to launch a cooler variant of the beautiful 458 Italia. The hardcore version of the car could be called Monte Carlo, Challenge Stradale, or Scuderia, and it is very likely to be much lighter than the stock version.

Power will come from a tweaked 4.5-liter V8 engine, and it will be sent to the wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. In order to obtain more power and better performance, the Italian automaker will probably do some ECU modifications, introduce forged connection rods, add a sports exhaust system, and put on some new carbon fiber aerodynamic parts.

Even though we need further information before we can tell you more about the Ferrari 458 Italia Scuderia, we are happy to share what we’ve learned so far. So we will complete this short report by mentioning that the engine will be able to perform 9,300 RPM, and the power will be sent to the rear wheels.
