The latest member of the Virtuoso collection by Bovet is the fabulous Amadeo Fleurier Virtuoso VII Retrograde Perpetual Calendar – a delicate-looking masterpiece of micro engineering that flaunts a plethora of complications. Even more impressive is the piece’s versatile Amadeo case, which allows it to transform from a wristwatch to a pocket watch or a table clock in no time at all.
The watch requires manual winding but features a power reserve of five days. On its back, an off-center dial showcases the minutes and hours, while the seconds are indicated by a hand located at 6 o’clock. The 9 o’clock mark is occupied by a power reserve indicator. At the front, the movement makes way for a central dial that shows the hours, minutes and seconds. The 12 o’clock mark boasts a leap year indicator, while a retrograde calendar surrounds the circumference of the dial.
Part of a limited edition, the Amadeo Fleurier Virtuoso VII Retrograde Perpetual Calendar will be available in an lavish 18k white gold version with a diamond bezel, and in a simpler 18k rose gold version. The piece will cost between $79,000 and $92,000.
