There’s nothing wrong with wearing a flashy belt buckle but this particular offering by Roland Iten takes things to a completely new level of extravagance. Set to be auctioned off by Christies in Geneva, the R60 Diablo is a complex buckle that comprises 109 components made out of 18k 5N rose gold, grade 5 titanium and white gold. The product was put together using techniques inspired from Swiss watchmaking traditions, which means that it is quite sturdy and reliable.
However, the buckle’s main highlight comes in the form of a stunning 60.66-carat diamond. The modified kite-shaped brilliant cut stone was dubbed Diablo by Roland Iten and hails all the way from Golconda in India. It boasts a superb and rare orange-brown color and is definitely one of the largest diamonds in the world.
