Sir Elton John bought this beauty back in 1987, but now the car is ready to find a new owner. On March 3, 2012, this gorgeous 1965 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 will be sold off at Bonham’s Collectors’ Motor Cars and Automobilia for an estimated £50,000 – £70,000 (approximately $77,000 – $108,000). The red roadster is a successor to the XK Jaguar, and also the best E-Type of all. This particular example still has its OKE 1 (aka “OK Elton”) license plates.
Among the other precious vehicles that will be present at the auction we mention a 1959 Lincoln Continental Convertible MkII, a 1928/29 Packard 633 Saloon, a 1983 Lea Francis 14hp Corsica, a 1953 Packard 8 Caribbean, and a 1982 Aston Martin V8 Vantage.
