Elegant Porsche Design P’9983 Smartphone By Blackberry

Plenty of mobile phone companies were affected by the ongoing battle between tech giants such as Apple, Samsung and Google, particularly since these corporations all but took over the market over the last few years. Blackberry was almost knocked out from the smartphone world despite its efforts to deliver innovative and high quality products, but the company is not ready to throw in the towel just yet. As a matter of fact, its Passport model is expected to be released in October 2014, as is the Porsche Design BlackBerry P’9983.

As the third smartphone made in collaboration with Porsche Design, the P’9983 looks quite impressive, especially if you’re into wide, QUERTY-based smartphones. Even though it features a practical keyboard, the phone also comes with a capacitive touchscreen that measures 3.1 inches and offers a resolution of 720 x 720 pixels. The Porsche Design logo and chassis were made out of forged stainless steel, which ensures great sturdiness and reliability.

Other technical details include an 8-megapixel camera that is able to record 1080p videos at 30 frames per second, 64 GB of internal storage, 2 GB of RAM memory and a 1.5 GHZ dual-core processor. The smartphone also boasts 4G LTE support as well as Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity. No word on the price just yet, but you can expect to see this Blackberry at various Porsche Design stores in the early days of October.
