Caring for the environment is a pretty big deal these days, and while it might seem like an uphill battle most of the time, some companies are certainly making great efforts to keep our beaches and oceans clean. The Adidas x Parley UltraBOOST Uncaged sneakers feature a special upper created entirely using recycled ocean plastic and polyester.
The two companies basically used trash to make these special-edition shoes, thus proving that recycling is undoubtedly viable in the fashion industry. Aside from the special upper, the model remained unchanged, which means that it boasts the same Boost midsole, Continental natural rubber Stretchweb outsole and Torsion bar.
The $100+ price tag might pose a slight problem for some, but nobody said cleaning the planet would be cheap or easy.
