Durable And Unique Big Bang Unico Full Magic Gold Watch

It’s probably safe to assume that you’re familiarized with some of the world’s most reputable watchmaking brands, including Rolex, Chopard and Breitling. These companies are known for creating timepieces of incredible beauty and elegance, many of which are made using precious metals and precious stones such as gold and diamonds. However, the brand that managed to stand out among its peers in 2012 did not do so by sticking to the norm but by creating an entirely new alloy. That alloy is called Magic Gold, and it is being remembered presently as part of an effort to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Hublot’s Big Bang collection.

The Big Bang Unico Full Magic Gold Watch flaunts what is known as the world’s first scratch-resistant gold (hence the Magic Gold name), which features a durability rating of 1,000 Vickers. Rated at 18k, the alloy is twice as durable as regular gold and can only be molded using diamond. The case of the timepiece measures 45mm and flaunts a sapphire crystal adorned with the Hublot badge.
The beating heart of the piece is a HUB 1242 UNICO movement that boasts an automatic flyback chronograph with a column wheel as well as a double clutch. With a water resistance of 328 feet, the timepiece is limited to 250 units.
