David Geffen’s Megayacht in Mallorca

Record executive and film producer David Geffen’s $300 million megayacht was recently spotted in Mallorca, impressing people with its luxurious look and dimensions. Pelorus, the 376-foot super yacht used to belong to Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, who sold the vessel to Geffen a few months ago. Now Geffen owns two of the top twenty largest yachts in the world, the other one being the 453-foot Rising Sun, which he bought from Larry Ellison in 2010. With luxe amenities like a spa pool, a swimming pool, two helicopter pads and a spacious owner’s suite with a private deck and 180-degree views, this is really a floating vacation home.

Also in Mallorca another luxe vessel was seen: the 390-foot “A” megayacht, designed by Philippe Starck and belonging to Russian businessman Andrey Melnichenko. Megayacht “A” is the 15th largest in the world and boasts a gorgeous design. The 2,583-square-foot master suite has bullet-proof windows, a fingerprint scanner at the entrance and is accessible via a silver-plated staircase.
