Dare to Wear James Bond’s Alluring Fragrance?

Marking the 50th anniversary of the iconic James Bond film franchise, this fragrance is far from ordinary. Developed by Eon Productions and Procter & Gamble, the James Bond 007 Fragrance takes its inspiration from the fascinating ‘60s.

Priced at $30 for the smallest bottle, the perfume flaunts tones of sandalwood, cardamom, vetiver, coumarin, moos, apple, and lavender. Why this combination? Vice president of P&G Prestige’s fashion brands, Bill Brace, answers this question.

“The aromatic feugere fragrance family came to prominence in the 60s – it was unmistakably masculine – mossy and ferny. But that was a while ago, so we wanted to move it on and give it a much more modern and sophisticated shell, which is why there’s fresh apple, cardamom, sandalwood and vetiver.”

The design of the flacon reminds us of the M16 secret labs, while the embossed 007 logo is a proof of the fragrance’s special pedigree. Harrods stores already have the fragrance in UK, but the rest of Europe, India, China, and the US will have to wait for it until Spetember.
