Created by WATCHe, the luxury timepiece was designed to dress up the iPhone 5, a cool gadget that can already display time fast and accurately. Secondly, the watch comes with a frame and a special arm that swings and allows the phone to be positioned at an angle for better interaction or viewing. This arm makes the iPhone thicker and not exactly slim enough for pocket wear.
So clearly the We5S is not about practicality. It is, however, a pretty nice statement piece, that will set you back 5,555 Swiss Francs, or approximately $5,900. The 2.1 oz. iPhone 5 accessory consists of a quick and easy to install frame, the aforementioned rotating arm, and a Swiss-made timepiece with black ruthenium coating.
The watch itself is powered by a manual winding mechanical movement with 17 jewels and 46 hours of power reserve. Pretty impressive for a smartphone accessory, huh? Oh, and the superluminova hands will allow easy time readings at any time of day or night.
