Contemporary Villa Mauthe In Germany

Beautifully designed by Philipp Architekten GmbH, the modern Villa Mauthe is located in Southern Germany and was built for a family that is passionate about art and graphic design. The architects decided to organize the property by implementing three different lines, namely a waterline created by the pool in the garden level, an art line that sorts the building and a line of old mature trees. As far as the art line is concerned, it delimits the horizontal public space from a vertical private area. The public space comprises the kitchen, dining and living room, while the private space incorporates a library and an office.

The main design theme for the villa is inspired by art. Skylights were placed strategically in order to make sure that natural light is able to enter the whole building, especially when it comes to the entryway. The bathroom also boasts a few artistic elements in the form of a Brazilian natural stone plate that decorates the wall. The guest bathroom features a plethora of gold-colored finishes.
