Hublot has been a supporter of the Only Watch Charity auction since 2005, and for this year’s event it created a colorful Classic Fusion watch in collaboration with a very talented Brazilian sculptor and painter named Romero Britto. The watch was created using techniques such as enameling, pop art and cubism, and it will be auctioned off alongside the canvas that served as inspiration for its unique design.
The dial of this special Classic Fusion is made out of white gold and highlights one of Britto’s exquisite works of art in great detail. The colorful pattern was created using carefully applied champlevé Grand Feu enamel. Other highlights include a red leather strap and a black case, both of which enhance the piece’s boldness and elegance. The Classic Fusion Only Watch Britto by Hublot will be put under the hammer on November 7, and its proceeds will be used to fund a series of research projects for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
