Classy M46 Modern Classic Sailboat by Morris Yachts

Recently unveiled at the 2013 Maine Boat Builders Show in Portland, this here is the M46 Modern Classic sailboat by Morris Yachts. The vessel is an excellent symbol of lavish lifestyle, flaunting various innovations that make it unique among boats of its size range. With plenty of interior space and excellent sailing performance, this is far from a regular sailboat. For its design, Morris Yachts enlisted the help of Sparkman & Stephens.

The vessel features a longer waterline than the company’s successful M-Series, as well as a traditional looking bow and enhanced tumblehome. The fold-down transom steps ensure easy access to the water from the cockpit, which is a first in any M-Series boats. Also unusual for a vessel its size is the two separate cabin configuration, with each stateroom featuring en-suite facilities. The larger owner’s room comes with separate shower for extra comfort.

Teak decks give the yacht a luxurious feel, and so do the carefully chosen fabrics, finishes and furnishings that can be found onboard. The main saloon invites natural light and affords wonderful views at the same time. There is also a dinette area with sitting for six, but this zone can be converted into an additional accommodation space with double-berth configuration.

For an uncompromising sailing experience, the M46 Modern Classic yacht was also endowed with an excellently appointed galley, including gimbaled stove, microwave, freezer, refrigerator, and generous counter space. And to top it all off, the navigation station has double functionality, also working as a home office with wireless technology.
