Chopard Happy Fish Métiers d’Art Timepiece

Inspired in its design by the endless beauty of the underwater world, the Happy Fish timepiece was launched originally in 2002 by Chopard. Now, during the Baselworld event in Switzerland, the watchmaker has released a brand new version of this stunning piece named Happy Fish Métiers d’Art. What makes this watch special is the fact that it “comes to life” during the night.

Its dial features a mother-of-pearl engraving as well as a representation of a fish that boasts gold leaf adornments. These decorations create a luminous effect once exposed to darkness, and the effect is further accentuated by the unique shades of a few snow-set blue sapphires. The eye of the fish is represented by a red jasper that forms a gorgeous contrast against the turquoise backdrop of the dial.

The case is made out of 18k rose gold and is complemented by a stunning bezel that comprises diamonds in three different sizes. The white alligator strap adds a final touch of elegance and refinement to a stunning masterpiece of engineering and design.
