C2 Prototype By Cirrus Aircraft Might Be Launched In 2015

In their ongoing quest to revolutionize personal aircraft transportation, Cirrus Aircraft managed to test their third and last Vision SF50 aircraft version on December 20, 2014. Dubbed C-Two, the prototype completed its maiden voyage with great success after it departed from the Duluth International Airport.

The C-Two’s success brought the Vision SF50 Personal Jet one step closer to completion, so close that it could actually be launched officially in 2015. The $1,96 million airplane is powered by a Williams FJ33 engine, and it flaunts impressive technologies such as a Garmin-powered avionics system, reclining seats for passengers and crewmembers and Sirius XM radio.  In 2015, Cirrus Aircraft aims to deliver three of these personal jets to their lucky owners. In 2016 and 2017, the company plans to increase their production to 90 and 125 units respectively, which means that we might be seeing a lot of these planes up in the sky as the years go by.
