The fastest roadster in the world is, unsurprisingly, a new Bugatti! True speed addicts have certainly been aware of the automaker’s intentions to create the Vitesse for quite a while now. The idea was first launched in February, and the official launch of the car took place earlier this month at the Geneva Motor Show.
Officially Called the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse, the car is a Grand Sport powered by a Super Sport engine, meaning a quad-turbo W16 unit capable of a dizzying 1,200 horsepower and an incredible top speed of 155 mph. That’s only a bit slower than the base Veyron, but much faster than the current Grand Sport roadster which can only reach 229 mph!
