Ulysse Nardin has unveiled another stunner: the Blue Toro watch with perpetual calendar. It features the legendary in-house Caliber UN-32 self-winding movement with 34 jewels and a power reserve of approx. 45 hours. It flaunts the only perpetual calendar that adjusts forward and backward in seconds, even for the year 2100.
The watch is ideal for luxury travelers, because it is easily adjustable to show the new local time: you only have to push the + and – buttons to move the hour hand to the desired position, without affecting its time keeping. The arrow will remain at its proper position to indicate the reference time. When you use the pushers to adjust the time, the date (day, month, year) also changes according to the new time zone.
Reading all calendar functions is easy, thanks to the skeletonized hands. The movement is also clearly visible through the sapphire crystal case back. All the materials used for this remarkable watch spell luxury, starting with the ceramic bezel and pushers, and ending with the 22-carat gold rotor, and the 18-carat rose gold case(43mm). The band is available in blue rubber with ceramic/titanium deployant clasp, or in leather with folding buckle.
