Benjamin Sloss Wins Rare Ferrari 599XX Evo at Auction

Google executive Benjamin Sloss has recently won a dream car at a Ferrari online auction. The name of the car? Ferrari 599XX Evo – a stunner in all respects, with top-notch engineering, and a Nürbürgring racetrack time of just 6:58:16.

The bidding war stopped at $1.78 million, which is higher than the presale estimations of $1.6 million. Apparently the proceeds from the sale will go towards the victims of the Emiglia Romaga earthquake in Italy, so the extra money Sloss paid for his baby will help a lot of people.

The Californian new owner of the car received his prize from President of Ferrari Luca di Montezemolo and Scuderia Ferrari members Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa, during a special ceremony in Monza. Powering the rare Ferrari is a V12 monsterwith 740 hp, which goes perfectly with the amazing design and active aerodynamics of the car. We can only imagine how happy Sloss must be right now!
