Awesome Nanuk Quattro Concept from Audi

Audi has unveiled its new Nanuk Quattro Concept at the much anticipated Frankfurt Motor Show. With a jaw-dropping design by Italdesign Giugiaro, the car is powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V10 TDI engine capable of 544 hp and a whopping 738 lb-ft of torque. And all with a pretty decent fuel consumption of 30 miles per gallon. We kind of already love it.

The 4,189-pound ride with AWD system can reach 62 mph in only 3.8 seconds and it won’t stop until it hits 190 mph. Designed to tackle all terrain types, the Nanuk successfully merges high performance with excellent versatility. To this end, Audi fitted the car with its latest generation of adaptive air suspension giving a height adjustment range of 2.76 inches.

The feature that we are most excited about, though, is the integral steering system. This enhances maneuverability at low and medium speeds by pivoting the rear wheels in the opposite direction of the front wheels by as much as nine degrees. When the car rolls at high speeds, the rear wheels turn in the same direction as the front one by 2.5 degrees, thus enhancing stability. We sure would like to see this baby enter production!
