What we’re about to describe is a fabulous single engine turboprop unveiled by Textron Aviation during the Oshkosh Air Show. Boasting a unique design that allows it to reach speeds of up to 285 knots, this small and lightweight plane can carry about 1,100 pounds of fuel, which means that it can fly for 1,600 nautical miles at high cruise speeds.
What really makes this plane stand out is that it can go all the way from Los Angeles to Chicago, Miami to New York or London to Moscow in a single trip. Then there’s the fact that it flaunts exceptional interiors, with a spacious flat floor cabin that offers enough space for passengers and cargo as well. The Cessna Denali will become available for purchase in 2018, which is not too long of a wait, right?
Given the fact that it’s equipped with a 1,240-shaft horse power-rated turboprop engine complemented by a McCauley 105-inch diameter 5-blade propeller, this little plane can provide a smooth and comfortable flying experience, which is always a big plus in our book. Other highlights include a weather radar, a Garmin G3000 intuitive touchscreen avionics suite, Terrain Awareness Warning Systems and automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast systems.
