This year’s Mercedes-AMG Cigarette boat is truly a sight to behold! It is a large 50-foot long masterpiece that features an aggressive, menacing design, which is backed by a beefy powertrain based on two 4.0-liter V8 Mercury Racing engines.
The 2017 Mercedes-AMG Marauder Boat flaunts 3,100 horsepower in its standard configuration, and depending which key fob is used by the drivers, the engines can operate at 1,550 or 1,350 horsepower each. The lower power output is aimed at those who don’t want to use the boat for racing all the time, which will definitely be appreciated by some users. The original vessel had its powerplant swapped, and most of the material making up the hull was replaced with carbon fiber. This resulted in about 1,300 pounds less in terms of weight, while the ‘Green Hell Magno’ paintjob was chosen as a nod to the 2018 Mercedes-AMG GT R.
