There are plenty of reasons to be excited about the upcoming 2014 Paris Motor Show, particularly if you’re an Audi fan. That’s because the German carmaker plans to unveil its TT Roadster and TTS Roadster models during the famed event, and judging by the success of the regular hardtop versions of the little car, it’s safe to assume that the convertibles will be quite a hit.
As with most roadsters, the 2015 Audi TT and TTS share a lot in common with their hardtop cousins, especially when it comes to engines and performance capabilities. The slower of the two, the Audi TT Roadster, will flaunt a 2.0-liter TDI Ultra diesel engine under its hood, which will deliver a respectable output of 280 lb-ft of torque and 181 horsepower. Those are really itching to burn some rubber will probably be more interested in the TTS Roadster that comes with a 2.0-litre TFSI gasoline engine. Thanks to the engine’s 280 lb-ft of torque and 306 horsepower output, the TTS will be able to perform a 0-60 mph sprint in just 4.9 seconds, while its top speed will be limited to 155 mph.
We don’t know anything about the prices of these beauties, but we do know that they will boast fabric tops as well as black or gray frames.
