Yesterday we told you about how things turned out at this year’s special edition of Concorso d’Elegaza Villa d’Este and we mentioned the gorgeous Aston Martin V12 Zagato as the winner in the “Concorso d’Elegaza Villa d’Este” category. Today we are here to give you a little more information on the superb two-door, two-seat racer.
The endurance race coupe was created to celebrate 40 years of successful collaboration between Aston Martin and the renowned design consultancy and engineering services company Zagato. Powered by a 6.0-liter V12 engine, the car boasts 510 bhp and 420 lb-ft of torque. The powerful engine is mated to a 6-speed automated manual transmission and is equipped with a limited slip diff and a twin plate competition clutch. Its body is handcrafted from aluminum and has been modeled using traditional techniques.
