AC Schnitzer’s 2015 BMW i8 Is Superb

First introduced as the BMW Concept Vision Efficient Dynamics, the BMW i8 is an outstanding plug-in hybrid sports car that flaunts an all-electric range of 23 miles thanks to a 7.1 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. Power figures aside, this modern automobile looks absolutely fantastic out of the factory, and now, thanks to AC Schnitzer, we get to feast our eyes on an even better looking version of it.

The company decided to make some changes concerning the car’s suspension, interior, wheels and bodywork, with even more modifications expected to arrive a bit later. As far as the suspension is concerned, AC implemented their own springs, which lowered the car dramatically. The wheels were swapped for a pair of 21” five-spoke beauties, which are about 30% higher when compared to the original ones. The front spoiler is made out of carbon fiber, the same material used for the rear wing and side skirts. Inside, the material palette includes velour for the floor mats and aluminum for the food rest and pedals.
