According to Samuelsson, the evening was perfect, from the decorations and the band to the guests and, of course, the food. “It was a honor to host the event and to share the food with the president, his team, and all the guests at our restaurant”, the chef said. The fundraiser netted an impressive $1.5 million for the Democratic National Committee, thus marking the opening of the 2012 campaign season.
