2011 Bentley Continental – Better Than Ever

The All-new 2011 Bentley Continental GT

Bentley sales grew considerably since the introduction of the Continental GT in 2003. They started with 1,000 sold units per year, and in several years the British automaker managed to cross the 10,000 sold vehicles threshold.

The game continues and for 2011 Bentley has new plans. A redesigned and updated Continental GT will hit the market and impress us all. Among other features, the car will boast a wider body, a new grille design, and a sportier profile.

The best part however remains the powerplant. The large coupe will feature a W12 engine that will run on premium petroleum or on E85 ethanol, and it will be capable of delivering 567 horsepower. Being 150 pounds lighter than the previous version, the new Continental will boast a great power-to-weight ratio and it will go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds. The maximum speed is 198 mph.

You should know that there is also the option of a V8 engine coupled with an 8-speed gear box. So now it is all up to you and your money when it comes to choosing one of the two versions. The W12 Continental is priced at $189,900.
