Shanghai had the honor of hosting this year’s Marcus Evans Luxury Brands Conference. The event took place between November 8-10 and a lot of top speakers were invited. Among them were Chairman of Petit Bureau, Christian Blanckaert; CEO of Reuge SA, Switzerland, Kurt Kupper; Stanley G. Sherwood, Group International Tax Counsel of Gucci Group; and Pierre Balsan, President of Fendi Asia Pacific Limited (LVMH).
Among the main topics discussed at the conference were the branding and marketing strategies, the rise of the East, new luxury technologies, concepts and innovations and luxury management and retail. These are all key issues with regard to the luxury industry of our days.
